The preaching of the Word of God is the most important part of the services at Grace. The Bible says in Titus 1:3 that God manifests His Word through preaching, and in 1 Corinthians 1:21 that it "pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe". We are commanded to "preach the Word" (2 Timothy 4:2), "preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15), and to "preach Christ crucified" (1 Corinthians 1:23). We believe that preaching is the biblical way of presenting truth for all to hear and know, preparing the believer to live a Christ-centered and God-honoring life, and pointing others to Christ Jesus. Our Pastor preaches with great joy and enthusiasm, as a result of his deep love for God's Word. Sunday morning's sermons vary from evangelistic to exhortation, and sometimes God leads him to preach in a more direct way, as the Bible commands us to "Preach the Word...reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." Currently, he is doing a series on Heaven on Sunday evenings, and preaching through the book of Revelation on Wednesday evenings.
